There are three separate Incorporation Kits so our customers have maximum flexibility in price and convenience. The Deluxe Kit was the original version, but we were asked to create the other two as well. No matter which one you choose, you’ll still get all of the same information, forms and instructions.
Deluxe Incorporation ($79.99)
This Kit contains all of the materials you will need to properly and legally set up your corporation. This includes a complete explanation of the issues associated with choosing a proper business name, a form of Articles of Incorporation and other forms ready for filing, and complete documents in a “fill-in-the-blank” format. You will readily and easily be able to comply with various corporate law requirements to properly organize your corporation (all of the necessary resolutions and materials to appoint directors and officers, issue shares to shareholders, adopt by-laws, designate signing authorities, etc. are included). This Kit also includes a one inch binder and 10 tabs (a “minute book binder”), and the various documents are organized behind the appropriate tabs.
Basic Incorporation ($49.99)
This Kit is the same as the Deluxe Incorporation Kit, in that it contains the very same information, documents, materials, by-laws, resolutions, share certificates, etc. The only thing missing is a one inch binder and 10 tabs (a “minute book binder”). Thus, if you purchase the Basic Kit, you will have to take the time to obtain these items separately, and then organize the applicable documents behind the appropriate tabs in the minute book binder.
Premium Incorporation ($64.99)
This is a Basic Incorporation Kit (see above) with a one inch binder and 10 tabs (a “minute book binder”) included, but you will still have to organize the documents behind the appropriate tabs in the minute book binder.

Selecting a Name
The kits tell you how to select a proper business name to comply with Alberta law and how to stop other people from using a confusingly similar name. Once you have selected your name, the kits explain how to conduct a name search, and how to interpret the results, using the same criteria that legal specialists use to determine whether your selected name can be used, or whether it infringes on the rights of others.
Registration
The “Registration” step involves the completion of the documents which have to be filed at the Corporate Registry. These documents are your “Articles of Incorporation”, “Notice of Directors” and “Notice of Address”.
Complete Articles of Incorporation are included in the kits. All three Legal Ease™ kits contain the same information in the Articles of Incorporation that specialized legal advisors use. They will give you flexibility in organizing your corporation and will help eliminate the risk of making serious mistakes at this critical stage.
The kits also contain a Notice of Directors and a Notice of Address.
The kits explain what a director does and detail the important considerations that should be taken into account when deciding who the corporation’s directors will be. The kits also explain what a registered address is, and why it is so important to pick the right location and to maintain its current status.
Organization
Once you have registered the initial paperwork at the Corporate Registry, you should then properly “Organize” the corporation. You do this by appointing officers, issuing shares to the shareholders, adopting by-laws, designating signing authorities, etc. All three Legal Ease™ incorporation kits provide a comprehensive, yet easy to understand, explanation of the issues associated with properly setting up your corporation’s business records. As well, complete documents are provided in a “fill-in-the-blank” format so that you can readily and easily comply with various corporate law requirements.
